Support the Vision

This year, CAJUNE (Celebrate Annapolis Juneteenth) brought together over150 vendors, 15,000+ people, and a wealth of resources and agencies. Not to mention the best local, national, and international talent on the Big Stage! Theis year we also launched the Watoto Village in our efforts to illuminate the path for success in the lives of our children and teens.

Our vision is to continue to expand the scope of this festival to address issues that affect the lives of minorities living in our county and city. We believe that non-violent festivals promote unity, diversity, education, and the continued efforts to break the cycle of racism.

Here is what we are envisioning for the reminder of this year-

  • To establish a permanent headquarters for the festal where Freedom ay and other educational tools can remain on display to teach the REAL education of our African heritage, enslavement, and the ongoing struggle for freedom.

To employ teens and college students , working at the headquarters to develop and promote CAJUNE 2024.

  • To establish a Freedom Way Mobile tour to exhibit at our middle and high schools during the month of February, teaching about Juneteenth and the institution of slavery in the United States.

  • To offer scholarships to teens excelling in education but unable to afford college.

To offer internships to college and high school students in technology, graphic design, artificial intelligence, and business marketing.

  • Where there is no vision- people perish! We have a vision and it is coming to past! You can help us reach those goals by making a contribution to the cause. We are a non profit and all donations are tax-deductible.

Can we count on you to pledge your support today?
